FILTER SUPPORT CORE

FDA Polypropylene: Recommended for potable water, Organic Acids, Alkalies, Animal, Petroleum and edible Vegetable Oils, Micro-Organisms. Max Temperature is 200 Degrees F with Stainless Steel Core. 120 Degrees F with Poly core. FDA Bleached Cotton: Recommended for Organic Solvents, animal, petroleum and vegetable oils. Max temperature is 250 degrees f. Rayon: Recommended use with Organic Solvents, animal, petroleum and vegetable oils. Will not have as much fiber migration as cotton.

Max temperature is 250 degrees f. polyester: Recommended for Organic Solvents, animal, petroleum and veetable oils.

Max temperature is 275 degrees f. polyester has become an excellent substitute for nylon yarn utilizing a lower price point. Industrial grade cotton: same properties as FDA cotton except is not rated for food contact. lower cost versus FDA cotton. RATED AT 250 DEGREES F. Micron configurations: 1/2, 1, 3, 5, 10, 20, 30, 50, 75, 100, 150. Filter lengths: (inches) 9.75, 10, 19.5, 20, 29.25, 30, 39, 40. Filter diameters: 2.5" to 4.5"

POLYCORE: INJECTION MOLDED OF 100% POLYPROPYLENE. MAX TEMPERATURE 120 DEGREES F. TINNED STEEL: TIN PLATED STEEL. RECOMMENDED FOR OILS. MAX TEMPERATURE 275 DEGREES F. 304 AND 316 STAINLESS STEEL. FOR USE IN AGGRESIVE CHEMICALS AND HOT WATER APPLICATIONS. Core Extenders: FOR METAL EXTENDERS, THE CORE IS LONGER AND THE END IS STAMPED TO FIT IN THE HOLDER IN THE FILTER VESSEL. FOR POLYCORES, A INJECTION MOLDED POLY EXTENDER IS INSERTED INTO THE END OF THE POLYCORE.
CORE COVER: CORE COVER IS USED MOSTLY IN COTTON MEDIA BUT CAN BE USED FOR ALL YARN TYPES TO REDUCE THE CHANCE OF GETTING ANY LOOSE FIBERS INTO FINISHED PRODUCT. THIS IS COMMON IN THE PLATING INDUSTRY. WE OFFER TWO TYPES OF CORE COVER, A 100% POLYESTER MATERIAL AND A 100% POLYPROPYLENE MATERIAL. THESE ARE SEWN INTO A SLEEVE AND SLIPPED OVER THE CORE BEFORE WINDING THE FILTER.

9.75" AND10" FILTERS ARE PACKED 60 PER CARTON. 20" FILTERS ARE PACKED 30 PER CARTON. 30" AND 40" FILTERS ARE PACKED 15 PER CARTON.
